Your Ego in Your Hand
Index finger is the only finger that can stand alone comfortably so this is the finger that tells the capacity of the individual to stand alone. You will see the statues of great leaders (who gave directions to the society) with the index finger up. And I remember that this is the finger my teachers and parents used for teaching me, and even to dominate me and to give me orders. This finger shows the ambition, pride, ego, dominance, capacity to lead and management skills. It is worth noting that this list is not exhaustive since anything similar can be included. If we read this list carefully, we will see that these are not entirely different and disconnected things. For example, pride and ego are the same but with the difference of degree and direction. In the same way leadership, management skills and dominance are the result of same desire (i.e. desire to rule) and you can say that ambition is not very different from this.
Every one of us has an index finger so everyone has all of these qualities; the only difference is the degree of these qualities. An index finger of the same length as that of the ring finger is average. Others say that an index finger that reaches two thirds of the length of the nail phalange of the middle finger is of average length. This suggests a normal eagerness to rule and be listened.
So logically a long index finger denotes higher ambition, higher self-respect and a desire to be in leading and dominating positions where they can feel proud of themselves. A long index finger shows the tendency to rule and dominate others in all spheres of life. These people can prove to be good managers but sometimes a bit arrogant too. Too long an index finger makes one a dictator. People with long Index finger can't listen criticism or insult. Their ego doesn't allow them to accept anything and anyone in front of them.
People with a small index finger lack the leadership skills and have less ego and pride. The good thing is that they don’t have an ego problem and are not very dominating, but the bad thing is they also have a lack of ambition and leadership skills. They need someone to push them forward otherwise they want to hide behind others. People with small index finger want to compromise with their near and dear ones. For this, they are ready to accept some criticism and insult too.
If the length of the finger tells the degree of qualities possessed, then the shape of the finger also suggests the direction in which these qualities are being taken.
A curved index finger tells that person is satisfying his ego by talking about himself. He will tell his friends and others “You know I am very emotional person, I can’t see any one weeping. I gave that much money in charity. I can understand what everyone wants from their face only…” and so on. Now why is he doing this? Because he wants appreciation for his talents and work. No one is telling him that he is good so he does it himself. This is a way of satisfying the ego. It is funny that many of us do it unknowingly. If you have this type of finger that curves towards middle finger, then watch yourself or ask your close friends.
A zigzag index finger tells that the desire of leadership makes a dictator type of person who wants to rule and dominate. Arrogance starts coming and they can’t bear anyone giving them directions. They also like to be flattered.
The little finger has qualities such as verbal communication skills, a practical sharp mind (resourcefulness) and the capacity to perform in fields such as business, politics and science. One needs very good communication skills and a cunning mind to be successful in business, politics and in scientific or technical fields.
A little finger reaching exactly the third joint (base of the top phalanx) of the ring finger is of the correct length. (While checking it, keep your hand normally stretched and fingers together). This tells that a person is of a sharp mind and is a good speaker.
People with a long little finger i.e. reaching above the third joint are those who are good at politics, business and technical fields because they are good at taking benefit from the right situations (cunning mind) and they possess great communication and convincing skills as they use right words to mould people in their favour. Their friendships also pay. Besides it one more thing is also sure. They have a capacity to learn many languages.
A small little finger tells not so convincing communication skills; when it comes to speaking in front of many people and bringing them to support y them, they find it very difficult (they might be working in a call center but still they lack sweet words and skills to do the magic). They are not good enough to take benefit at the right times.
A curved little finger increases the tendency to take benefit. Their skills with their tongue and sharp mind are used in a bit wrong way. They can find shortcuts anywhere. It does not necessarily mean that they cheat but they are clever people for sure. They are fond of playing tricks on others and still people like them, and call them naughty (mischievous) boy/girl.
If little finger is zigzag it tells that this person can use his speaking skills and cunning mind in a wrong way i.e. cheating others and making fools of them. Successful cheaters also have a very pleasant way of talking and sharp minds to find a way to fool others. Zigzag finger never considers a right or wrong way to make income.

Flexibility of Thumb = Adaptability
The flexibility of the thumb tells the degree of adaptation of that person. If the thumb is very stiff (i.e. it does not bend back) then these people are very strong on their views (to the degree of being stubborn) and they find is difficult to adjust with new situations and people, but the good thing is that they are reliable because they won’t change their views. On the contrary, if the thumb is very flexible on the first joint (bends back easily) then these people are very adaptable and they don’t find it difficult to adjust with anyone or in any new situations. But the bad thing is that they are also quite fickle minded and unreliable.

Are You Risk Taking?
An average size of ring finger is almost equal to the index finger or reaching two thirds of the nail phalange of the middle finger. People with a long ring finger are found stuck in false glory. Long ring fingers increase interest in the above things and that’s why these people want to earn money fast. They take interest in gambling, racing and risky deeds. They also earn good benefits from this. Small fingers keep away from fame and light and these people never take a risk. They want to remain on the safe side and they also want to avoid the crowd.
A curved ring finger has material desire in showing off. These people want to show their money, luxuries and expansive items. For example they talk about their dinner in a big hotel, the pleasure they had during a date with a beautiful girl and so on... Zigzag ring finger tells that this person can do anything to satisfy his material desires.

If the middle finger is curved then it takes their thinking and planning into a bit of a depressive side. These people remember again and again sad memories (such as ‘why did it happen?’, ‘why did he do it?’, ‘why couldn’t I do that?’ and so on). They start thinking of the negative result of whatever they’re planning. They often start thinking about what other people would say if I said it, what I would answer and so on. This way they make a whole story to feel sad about (this is the first sign of depression). If the middle finger is zigzag (a rare sign) it means that this person is using all of his thinking and planning in a very negative way for destruction and conspiracy. Maybe he is planning to kill himself, or maybe others. Either way, it is a real bad luck sign. In ancient palmistry it was said that this person would commit suicide. Straight Middle finger is the best one and it suggests that the subject has a progressive view of the life i.e. he lives mostly in present.
